My favorite book of beat poetry by my favorite beat poet. This 50th anniversary edition is a handsome hardcover book that includes not only all of Coney Island of The Mind but selected poems from his first book, Picutres of The Gone World and "Oral Messages" a collection of poem meant for jazz accompaniment. Also included in a CD of Ferlinghetti reading his poetry (recorded in 2007) and a 1957 live recording of the poet reading poetry accompanied by the Cellar Jazz Quintet. Almost perfect.
