Lowboy - John Wray This book was a major disappointment fueled by the commercial hype and my own expectations based on the topic which I have a significant knowledge of. Although the author clearly did his research on Schizophrenia, Lowboy never rises above a stereotype. I did not find the writing anything to rave about neither. It tended to be pedestrian with stiff and unbelievable dialogue. The lame twist at the end led nothing to either the story or to any understanding of the main protagonist. Overall, fair to middling novel that I can not recommend.
